[driverloader] Fedora core kernel crashes.

Hello Ian,

I had this exact problem on my HP/Compaq NX7000. None of the updated
Fedora kernels would work either.

The only way I could fix it was to download vanilla kernel sources from
kernel.org and compiling from them. Importing the config from /boot with
the Fedora defaults worked just fine - in fact, things like ACPI which
were a bit flaky before are considerably better with a stock 2.4.25
kernel. It does mean you have to recompile the Driverloader module from
source, but that worked fine for me.

Feel free to get in touch if I can help further!

David
