[driverloader] no activity on linuxant device

Security mode is always open, I am required to use WEP, thus seucirty
mode should be displaying 'restricted', even after 'iwconfig ethX key on'

Link, signal, quality are all zero. Using ifup ethX the interface 
attempts to broadcast but both RX/TX are 0.0.
