[driverloader] SIOCSIFFLAGS: Function not implemented

I had a Linksys HPN200 Phoneline card (this is not wireless but uses 
phoneline netwroking technology) working with Linuxant for a couple 
hours on a Mandrake Linux 10.0 system. But now when i do ifup eth0 i get:
Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A)
    Set failed of device eth0; Operation not supported. //This is expectable
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Function not implemented.

ifdown returns:
RNETLINK answers: No such device of address.
RNETLINK answers: No such device of address.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
