[driverloader] MDK 10.1 CE Issue continued

Jonathan,
I have gotten the generic 2.06 rpm to work with the winXP drivers. My
only problem is that I have no ifconfig-eth0 file in /etc which seems to
make it impossible to ifup eth0 to get the card working. Currently I
have to dhcpcd eth0 to grab an IP. I can't use the Mdk Control Center
to configure either since there is no way to point to driverloader as
the moduel, so not sure what/where to put for that.

Since I had to do a fresh install, everthing got wiped. Do you have a
sample ifconfig to use? I did a backup of my /etc directories, but not
sure how to extract just one file from incremental tar.gz back up file.

Also, without the ifconfig file, it seems performance is VERY sluggish
receiving mail in Evolution. For the 50+ new messages(no attachments or
html hogs) I had today, it must have taken 10 minutes. Am I on the
wrong track here?

Thanks,
Robert
