Hi,

if you are able to see the MAC address of the access point in the output 
of 'iwconfig' then yes, the problem is likely related to IP 
configuration (routing, DNS, etc..).

We are not aware of any WEP issues with wireless cards based on the TI 
(Texas Instruments) chipset. It is possible, however, depending on your 
configuration that you will need to set an explicit security mode with 
the WEP key. Please read the 'iwconfig' manual page for more information.

Unfortunately, since DriverLoader doesn't support to be able to dump 
packets up to the 802.11 level, there is no tool that I'm aware of that 
you can use to detect why the connection to the access point fails.
