I need an idiot's guide to this, please: I'm new to Linux & don't understand the basics. I have a Belkin 54g PCI wireless LAN card & al running Mandriva 2007 (2.6.17_15mdv). I can't get it working using ndiswrapper. I don't mind spending $19 on your system, but I don't know where to start. I downloaded and installed driverdownload ("successfully", it said) from appropriate rpm file....but now what do I do? I can't find the application anywhere: if I try to install the LAN card via the KDE software, it tries again the with the ndiswrapper - I don't see any new commands. I can't understand the terminal language and can't find out how to navigate using the 'cd' command. Can you offer any advice please?
Regards,
Nick Coote
