[driverloader] D-Link DWL-G510 can't locate firmware?

I am trying to get a D-Link DWL-G510 card working under SuSE 10.2
(kernel 2.6.18.2-34). lspci identifies the NIC as "RaLink RT2561/RT61
rev B 802.11g".

I have installed driverloader and the windows driver but am having
problems. There are various errors in the system log, but the first is
this:

driverloader: NdisOpenFile: filename=rt2561.bin failed (err=-2)
wlan0: WPA, WPA2, AES, TKIP, WEP128, WEP64 supported
wlan0: IEEE 802.11g Wireless Card. at 0000:00:0e.0 (MAC address
00:19:5B:2D:AE:41) ready
wlan0: New link status: Disconnected (0002)

I have rt2561.bin in my /lib/firmware directory, but it seems this is
not the correct place. I am a linux newbie and am hoping more
experienced folks will know how to help.
