[hcflinux] hcf linux driver

Hi,

I tried to install HCF drivers today and I have a problem.
File /dev/ttyHCF didn't create..
I use Mandrake 8.2 linux.

So I have the situation just like in this message:

I tried to create this files using mknod with following command:
mknod -m 666 /dev/ttyHCF0 c 240 64

I looked into hcfconfig script to find out major and minor numbers.
So I did with /dev/cuaHCF0 file.

All hcf modules were inserted into kernel,
and /proc/devices shows hcf%d with number 240 and cua%d with number 241
(these are the major numbers I suppose)

What is the problem with mandrake ?
What is devfs-based distribution ?

I'll be very grateful for a reply.
