[hcflinux] HCF 127A 1003

Hello,
I tried to dial up by hitting the Internet icon on the KDE
desktop(KPPP). After that I selected the modem (/dev/ttySHCF0), entered
my account specifics and then hit connect. It read "deteced modem" and
then started "Initializing modem" after which nothing else would happen
(it would eventually time out).
I have a Rockwell HCF 56K PCI Data Fax modem (127A 1003). I'm not
exactly sure what "minicom" is and I don't know about the "dmesg" output
(I'm very nex to Linux).
Thanks again for all the help!
Sam
