Hi,

The HCF modem + Riptide sound card 127A:4321 with the
latest driver riptide-0.4mbsibeta02090100 and
hcfpcimodem-0.98mbsibeta02090200

The modem behaviour is the same as before I have
reported, that is it is detected, all AT command seems
to be responsed but when dialing it never get the
handshake stage and connected to the ISP, after
waiting for a while it reports BUSY signal.

The sound driver is a bit better than before, that is
to say, esd runs fine now. But except xmms, xmcd
almost all other application using sound got the
kernel OOPS (java sound, games). Mplayer the first
time start exit with segmentation fault. Check dmesg I
found the OOPS log. The second time it seems to be
running fine (although sound and video not in sync).
Xine never get that point, always OOPS the kernel and
I saw a lot message error line Divide by 000 error for
all application causing the OOPS

Amazingly that after several OOPSes the system is
still running as normal and even the sound is still
usable for xmms and xmcd etc... (much better than
before that point so I dont have to reset)

If you need any more information, of the OOPS log pls
let me know.

Regards,
