I have exactly the same problem with 127A:4321 in HP
box (this is a riptide modem) and sent the bug report
but got no response, assume that we have to wait :-)

Hi,
	Yup, it's an HP box. Pavilion 8515.
This modem issue is the only reason I still have
to use Windows.
	Maybe a bit of flattery will help ;-)
Marc you are a god. You stand right alongside the Holy Trinity
of Linus, RMS and Larry Wall. Solve this problem and we
may well build a temple in your honour. :-)
