[hcflinux] PCI Modem vendor-id: 14F1, device-id: 1056 doing dump during load of hcfpciserial

I have also had a kernel oops when running "insmod hcfpciserial.o" but
with a desktop Duron machine. I don't have ACPI support compiled in. My
modem is a 14f1:1036.

I added printk statements to the driver and managed to work out that the
problem is happening inside the proprietary closed-source part of it.

There is a kernel "oops" somewhere during the execution of
    if ((r=hcf_pcomctrl->Open(hcf_comctrl))) {
at line +-678 of serial_hcf.c

Regards,

Tim
