Hi,

which ppp dialer are you using? Are you establishing a connection with your
ISP before trying to access a web site?

Please send us the results from the following commands:

echo $PATH

rpm -q iputils
locate ping

Subject: [hcflinux] dns & ping

Stuart - when I originally entered my network info it didn't ask anything
about dns so I didn't enter anything - I looked at the setting and it
says[for dns host] localhost localdomain - After I "activate" and click on
mozilla I hear no modem dialout - just an immediate message "could not
connect" - TRied to ping www.longlandclan.hopto.org - "command not found" -
tried to ping 202.47.55.78 - "command not found
