I am frequently seeing errors like this usually after being connected
for a long period of time (over two hours):

Feb 14 14:00:20 skippy kernel: 1575767.597: HCF: DEVMGR: ERROR could not
start hPostRlsdTimer!!!

Is this my hardware having problems or is it the hcfpci driver?

Oh, my hardware is a Sony C1VP laptop here is relevant lspci -v:

00:0a.0 Communication controller: Conexant HCF 56k Data/Fax/Voice/Spkp
Modem (rev 08)
Subsystem: Sony Corporation: Unknown device 80b3
        Flags: medium devsel, IRQ 9
        Memory at fc000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=64K]
        I/O ports at 1088 [size=8]
        Capabilities: <available only to root>

and I am using the mbsibeta 0.99mbsibeta02123100 on Debian Sid kernel
2.4.20, and gcc 3.2.3. I have had the same problem on RedHat 8.0 on
this same system using the same kernel revision. Other than the above
random problem the driver works quite well. Thanks for all your hard
work Marc, all the contributers and Conexant for comissioning the
driver!

Thanks a bunch,
