[hcflinux] HSF Modem Problem using terminal based connection - cannot type

Hi,

please try with 'minicom' or 'kermit' to connect to your ISP and then 
try to enter your user name and your password to see if the problem is 
with 'kppp' or the modem driver.

Please note that it is possible that there is no visual feedback when 
you try to enter your user name and your password depending on the 
software used by your ISP to handle logins.

Alternatively, you could try to connect to another modem or ISP just to 
make sure that the problem is not the modem driver.
