<div>I need some help to install the HCF Conexant Drivers under my Debian Potato 2.2r0.</div>
<div>I tried to install the drivers from the tar.gz package. I "untared" it, and then tried the "make install". Then my console became full of weird characters, and every character i write became wrong and strange untill i reboot the machine. Should i set some kind of system variable before the "make install"?</div>
