[hsflinux] Conexant SmartHSF Data/Fax

Hi,

I'm having trouble getting hsflinmodem (tarball
release hsflinmodem-4.06.06.02mbsibeta02040500)
working with the above modem on my Sony Vaio PCG-F807
running Redhat 6.2, kernel 2.2.14-5.0. listmodem.sh
returns the following:

but when I try to access the modem I get the following
error messages:

Apr 13 11:14:16 localhost kernel: PCI: Enabling bus
mastering for device 00:50 
Apr 13 11:14:16 localhost kernel: Trying to free free
IRQ9 
Apr 13 11:14:16 localhost kernel: hsf_request_port:
ComCtrlOpen failed, r=1! 

Does this mean that my modem is not supported? Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
