[hsflinux] 8086:2446

I have a Toshiba 1900, modem 8086:2446.  I too get the dreaded messages
(mandrake 8.2, hsflinmodem-5.03.03)

kernel: PCI: Trying to free free IRQ11
kernel: hsf_request_port: ComCtrlOpen failed, r=1!

Under Window XP the modem identifies itself as a Toshiba Software Modem AMR.

Is there a Lucent buried under there (how do I tell?) or is there still
hope?
