Hi Lars,

are you sure that your modem is a Conexant modem? What kind of machine
is it installed in? What drivers does windows use?

8086:2486 is the ID of the Intel AC97 controller. A number of companies
(not only Conexant) make AC-link modems that can interface to that controller.
Our driver only supports Conexant AC-link modems.
