[hsflinux] No Carrier with 8086:2486

I got a laptop with am modem from Conaxant (Dell Inspiron 4100). Some
time ago, I got the modem working with the hsf-driver, but after some
problems with my filesystems I had to reinstall the system.
The driver compiles and installes completely, but when I try to connect
to my ISP, it abort with NO CARRIER. I can hear the modem dial and got a
CONNECT as response, but nothing more.

I have attached a text-file with some information I think would be
useful.
