Ummm, yeah. Sorry 'bout that. Got in too much of a hurry. Here's that

All the boxes are running RH 7.3 (2.4.18-3 kernel on i686).

I have a few more details. We have an application that monitors the modem
for incoming phone calls. Turns out that I can USUALLY (not always)
duplicate the problem by booting the computer and, before any outgoing calls
are made, calling the modem (having the modem monitor record the call).
When this happens, the monitor is unable to recognize the call. Then if I
log into the box & try and dial out, the OOPS message below is printed.

I've begun testing the latest release (02083000) of the hsf driver. I've
had the following OOPS message come up on 2 of the 3 boxes I've installed.
I'm trying to reproduce the problem, but in the mean time I wanted to check
& see whether anyone else has had this problem (and found the cause). It's
happening on the first dialout attempt the box makes (w/in about 3 minutes
of the box being booted). So far my tests have indicated that if it makes
it through the FIRST dialout attempt, all the other connections work fine.

Here's the info sent to the messages file:
