[hsflinux] CVS doesn't work

I had the same problem with my CONEXANT HSFi modem
( pci id 0x14f1:0x2f00 ).
Your message saved me! I switched to the 'olitec'
4.06.06.02 driver and now all works ok.
Note that this has nothing to do with cvs or cvsup - simply 
sending lots of data over the line throttle the modem 
(try by example to upload a large file).
I think this is a rather nasty bug which makes 
- for me at least - the 5.x.x drivers unusable.
