Hi forum!
I've some problems with my Debian 3.0 Woody (kernel 2.4.18-bf2.4) and a Conexant
hsf modem.
I've downloaded the file hsflinmodem*.tar.gz from the site and then I've tried
to edit the file hsf/modules/common.mak:

KERNELSRC= /usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.18       /* that's right, I've got it */

the next line is:

KERNELSRC_EXISTS= $(shell test -r ${KERNELSRC}/include/linux/version.h && echo y|| echo n)              /* I haven't a version.h file in /include/linux!! */

ifneq ($(KERNELSRC_EXISTS),y)
<error message>        /* Yes, I get it!! */
endif

How can I edit common.mak to make it works?

maybe #define UTS_RELEASE "2.4.18-3" in /usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.18/include/
linux/version.h?

Someone can help me? Thank you!
