[hsflinux] Custum kernel; RH9; compile failure

Hello all,

I've run into a problem with my modem. It has worked well on RH7.3 and RH8.0
and it works well with the latest kernel for RH9 using the generic packages
with source. Sadly, when I run hsfconfig with my own kernel, the compile
itself crashes. No errors about the kernel-source not being properly
installed.

-The buildlog:

http://folk.uio.no/oeysteio/tmp/hsfconfig-buildlog.txt

-The last part of the buildlog:

* compiling (gcc) mod_engine.c
> linking kernel module hsfengine.o

* compiling (gcc) serial_hsf.c
In file included from serial_hsf.c:897:
serial_core.c: In function `uart_close':
serial_core.c:1073: invalid operands to binary ==
make: *** [serial_hsf.o] Error 1

-Output from hsfconfig --dumpdialog:

http://folk.uio.no/oeysteio/tmp/hsfdiag.txt

The config file used in my kernel:

http://folk.uio.no/oeysteio/tmp/config

Any suggestions?

I've seen in the archives that there are some problems with acpi and the
driver, but that shouldn't stop it from compiling(?) Any help would be much
appreciated.
