In response to Will K:

When I run hsfconfig it at some point askes me for the path to my kernel
source. I your case, it would be /usr/src/kernel-headers-2.4.18-bf2.4

If I just press enter, it will default to /usr/src/linux which is a symbolic
link that most people create when they are compiling their kernel. In your
case, it does not point to your current source (kernel-headers-2.4.18-bf2.4)
and that may explain your problem.

So, either change your symbolic link to point to the headers' directory or
enter that path by hand when prompted by hsfconfig.

Good luck.
