adittionaly, if you are feeling adventurous, you can go comment out these lines:

in the file modules/osspec/include/oscompat.h

And do "make clean, make install" again. But, if you do this, you are SOL. Forget about asking support to
linuxant, I guess.

But works fine for me with kernel 2.4.21-ck3 in a compaq notebook (evo n1000v). Zero problems so far.

ah, this ck3 thing are patches for 2.4.xx kernels from Con Kolivas, very cool patches. I use
almost all of them.
