Hi,

did you get any error while compiling the modules with "hsfconfig" (it would
have generated a file in '/tmp')?

Please see the FAQ for comon problems.

http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/faq.php

If you still need assistance, you can run "hsfconfig --dumpdiag" in a root
shell and send us the file generated in '/tmp' at support at linuxant.com.

Subject: [hsflinux] linmodem problem

Hello All,

I have a problem with the linmodem. I have
caldera open linux on my desktop. I downloaded the
source tarball from linuxant and run make install. In
the end make prompted me to run hsfconfig. I ran
hsfconfig. It did something and in the end it said
that

       Error, Driver not active.

    Please guide me in:

(1) Is this an error?
(2) How to correct it?

Thanks
Srinivasan
