[hsflinux] My modem not working...

Hi.
I've got a strange problem. I don't know if it's my hsf drivers that's
the problem, but something in my system is giving me trouble.

I usually use ifup (included in rh8) for connecting to Internet. Last
week while I was connected I ran out of diskspace. When I disconnected
from Internet I got the following in /var/log/messages:

Oct 20 19:31:07 Datorn pppd[27556]: Terminating on signal 15.
Oct 20 19:31:07 Datorn pppd[27556]: Connection terminated.

Doesn't say me much. I fixed the diskspace problem using partition magic
in Windows. However, after this, I haven't been able to connect using
ifup anymore (I just get the error message "Failed to activate ppp0 with
error 9"). Using wvdial works though, so I'm far from sure that the hsf
drivers are the problem...

Anyone that has any clue? I'm running RH8, kernel 2.4.18-14 and I'm
using the precompiled rpm (athlon version) for my kernel.

/Daniel
