[hsflinux] kppp hangs with MDK10

Hi,

I recently installed the hsfmodem package for mandrake 10 (kernel 
2.6.3-13). When I first used it with the free license all went fine 
(except for the connection speed, of course)

Then I bought the license, "upgraded" the driver and now it no longer 
works. KPPP hangs while connecting, and I had to revert to the free 
license. I know that something similar was happening with Fedora users 
under 2.6 series kernel, but I don't know if this issue is related...

Any idea?
