Hi,

which module(s) do you have to disable to use the modem driver? Only the
'snd-intel8x0m' module? It this is the case, you could remove this
module from your kernel, insert the HSF modules into the kernel with the
'modprobe /dev/ttySHSF' command in a root shell and then try to insert
the 'snd-intel8x0m' module again in your kernel.

For the pre-compiled RPM failure, please install the pre-compiled RPM
again, you will have to remove the already installed RPM package with
the 'rpm -e driverloader' command in a root shell if you have installed
the RPM package.

While the pre-compiled RPM package is installed, please send us the
output of 'dumpdiag'. Type the following in a root shell:

---
dldrconfig --dumpdiag
---

Just send us the generated file located in /tmp ('driverloaderdiag.txt').
It'll help us solve the problem.
