we can see these messages in your 'dmesg':

HSF: ERROR: SILICON Laboratories or LUCENT AC97 modem detected!<3>
HSF: ERROR: This driver only supports CONEXANT devices<3>
HSF: ERROR: not a Conexant modem<3>
cnxthsf_cnxt_serial_add: ComCtrlOpen failed (1)
hsfich: probe of 0000:00:06.1 failed with error -5

It seems that your modem is not based on a Conexant chipset so you will 
be unable to use our HSF driver.

It is possible that you will be able to find a Linux driver fot your 
modem at:
