[hsflinux] Modem installation

the problem is that your modem with PCI ID 2000:2800 is not known to be 
based on a Conexant HSF chipset. The HSF modem driver we provide only 
supports modems based on a Conexant HSF chipset.

We can see this in the output of the 'lspci -v' command:

02:03.0 Modem: Smart Link Ltd.: Unknown device 2800 (rev 02) (prog-if 00 
	Subsystem: Smart Link Ltd.: Unknown device 2800
	Flags: medium devsel, IRQ 169
	Memory at fc000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=16M]
	Capabilities: [80] Power Management version 2

Since the PCI database on your machine knows this device as a Smart Link 
device, it is quite possible this this modem will be supported by the 
Smart Link Linux modem driver that you can download at:
