[hsflinux] HSF Modem hangs my Linux system.

I just got a new DELL PowerEdge SC430 with a Conexant Modem installed. I am
using SME Server Version 7.0 linux distribution ( CENTOS 4.2 ) based.

The kernel version is 2.6.9-22.0.1.EL. I downloaded V 7.43 for this kernel
from the Linuxant website.

Some output which might be of use ...

[root at ash-cutel ~]# uname -a

Anyone have any ideas as to what might be wrong ? Anyone got one of this
modems working with the above configuration?
