Hi,
'hsfstop' makes laptop disk suspend working, but this unloads hsf kernel
modules.
Also /etc/rc.d/hsf stop cures the situation.

>From my point of view the most important thing is to have laptop correctly
suspended to disk
when the battery goes out in every situation.

It must be possible to save any open application data after successfull
wakeup of the laptop.
Modem drivers may be non operational (if active phone call was
interrupted). This functionality
I have when I use Windows XP with Conexant modem on the same laptop.

Regards
Wojciech

Hi,

as a workaround, did you tried to use the 'hsfstop' command before you
suspend the laptop to see if there is a difference?

Linuxant is working on improving suspend support for the driver and it
is possible that a future version of the driver will offer better
suspend support for the kernel used and your system.
