Hi,

there are multiple problems in the dump you have provided.

The first one is that HDA support is not enabled on the 2.6.18 kernels
with version 7.47.00.03 of the HSF driver. Since you have a HDA modem in
your machine, this is very important. A new version of the driver will
be released soon to solve this problem, in the meantime, patches to the
driver can be installed to solve this problem with the 'hsfconfig
--patch' command in a root shell.

The second problem is that modprobe can't load the driver kernel
modules. It seems that your system is laking the important
/etc/modprobe.conf file, required for 2.6. kernels. Running the
following commands in a root shell is likely to solve this issue:

---
touch /etc/modprobe.conf
hsfconfig
---
