[hsflinux] HSF modem driver corrupts system

Hi,

this is a stack trace showing a major problem with the HSF driver. When 
you get such a problem, it's not uncommon that you can't complete the 
shutdown scripts of your machine.

Please make sure that you are using the latest version of the driver, it 
is available at:

http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/full/downloads.php

Since you are using a distribution (Gentoo) which is not officially 
supported, you could also try with a vanilla kernel and config from 
http://www.kernel.org just to make sure that the kernel was not 
configured or patched with something we are not aware of that could be 
incompatible with the HSF driver.
