[driverloader] promiscuous mode supported? (sorry for double posts, if any!!)

does dldrconfig -i report the driver's version?

alternatively you can try to find it out by doing
	strings -e l /var/lib/driverloader/filename.sys

also, did you try ftp://ftp.support.acer-euro.com/notebook/TravelMate_80x/driver/winxp/intel2100b.zip ?
