I think it will help to pass only part of the full name to 'rpm -e',
like
'rpm -e hcfpcimodem' or
'rpm -e hcfpcimodem-0.99' or
'rpm -e hcfpcimodem-0.99mbsibeta'

or use a graphical tool.
