Hi,

The country setting can affect all of these parameters in the inf file:

- t35code
- name
- intcode
- txlevel
- relays
- pulse
- ring
- toneparams
- sreg
- dtmf
- threshold
- rlsd
- tone
- timing
- cadence
- blacklisting
- callerid
- speedadjust
- flags

Regards,

Jean-Simon

Subject: [hsflinux] Country Codes

I've been trying to get a modem working properly in Japan
and I was wondering : what do the country code settings change?

AFAIK they only change dialtone and ring detection, that once
it's actually connected the country code isn't relevant, but
I'm not sure.

Can anyone answer this quick question?

(My much larger question of "Why doesn't it work" I'll leave
aside for now. I realise that starting Linuxant is eating up
a lot of developer time after all :)
