[hsflinux] kppp hangs with MDK10

Hi,

I tried a stock 2.6.7 kernel (without the specified options) and
it still behaves the same: FREE licence works, paid license works only
when changing the region to USA.
When setting the region to ISRAEL, I get the same bit 7 error.

My guess is that the USA region only needs a 7 bit encoding, while
in Israel it needs 8 bit to add the hebrew alphabet, which causes some
conflict between pppd, the serial device and the modem driver.

But then again, I could be way off...

Thanks,

Yoav
