Hi,

the problem is that the HSF driver modules can't be loaded:

---
+ modprobe -v /dev/ttySHSF
FATAL: Module /dev/ttySHSF not found.
---

According to the rest of the 'dumpdiag', the HSF driver modules are
correctly compiled and installed. The right entries are also in the
modprobe configuration files.

Are you able to manually load the HSF driver using the 'modprobe
hsfmc97ich' command in a root shell instead?

Please note that there is also a problem in your kernel according to the
'dmesg' and it seems that IRQ 10 is disabled, which unfortunately is
used by the modem. It is quite possible that even if you fix the modules
loading problem you will be unable to use the modem.

You could try to upgrade both the 'module-init-tools' package and the
Linux kernel and hopefully both problems will be solved.

Regards,
