[driverloader] Acer TravelMate 661LCi locks up

Hello,

i've tried driverloader (v1.38) on an Acer TravelMate 661LCi.
After uploading the file w70n51.sys (dd. may 19, 2003) using the browser 
(Mozilla 1.5) the system locks up - no mouse, no keyboard.
Interestingly the LED signalling WLAN went on. But this does not help due the 
the system in unusable. I have to cold boot the system to get it running 
again.
Then i checked /var/lib/driverloader and realized that the *.sys file was not 
stored there. As result the WLAN device is not activated.
Placing this file manually to /var/lib/driverloader and re-loading the 
kernelmodule (rmmod / modprobe driverloader) results in the same system 
freeze as before.

Any hints ?
