Hi,

the 'AT &F' command should reset the driver to it's factory settings. If
it doesn't work, either you have entered the command in the wrong place
or there is a serious problem with the driver. Note that a few users
which have reported similar error messages also told us that sometimes a
reboot is needed after these error messages are generated or else the
driver simply refuses to work.

I doubt that the source of the problem is related to IRQs, if it was an
IRQ related problem, the connection would probably never been
established in the first place. Sharing IRQs between devices is
generally not a problem for modern OS like Linux and it is sometimes
unavoidable on x86 systems.
